YOUth LEADing Tasmania (YLT) is based on OzGREEN’s Youth Leading The World program and is a partnership between the RESEED Centre in Penguin and Live Well Tasmania in Wynyard. Funds granted from the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal will be used to engage OzGREEN in a bold initiative that seeks to accelerate the shift to fair futures by building a movement of inspired youth leaders.

Global Challenges: Eco footprint; Pulse of the Planet (update on global sustainability challenges including climate change, biodiversity, food, water, energy, economic, wellbeing); coming to terms with the depth of these challenges; visioning our sustainable community.
Be the Change: Creating change brainstorm: one planet living plan; social innovation for sustainability; sharing ideas in locations around Australia, inspiring local change stories; action planning to achieve vision;
Begin it Now: Youth-led Community Forum for government and local businesses, parents, teachers, principals and the public – designed and run by youth.
Ongoing Mentoring by local YLT Facilitators.
Cost
3 day YLT Congress is provided free of charge thanks to funding from the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR).
Volunteers from the RESEED Centre and Live Well Tasmania are bringing this project to life, will be some of the facilitators, will support the young people with their project ideas, and will ensure the impact is felt into the future.
