We are offering a space where people can learn and practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC) within an Ongo Group.
NVC is a powerful approach to communication that helps you express yourself clearly and
understand others better.
With these skills you can build stronger relationships and improve connections with your family, friends and the people you work with.
Another outcome is the enhanced emotional awareness that happens as you learn to recognise and express your feelings effectively.

The Ongo Group is one way to learn NVC
The Nonviolent Communication is learnt in a group setting using the Ongo
practices. The Ongo practices introduce you to the NVC principles using the Ongo
book, and strategies that include mindfulness and listening for the needs of the
other person. Ongo offers a place for you to be heard as well.
Each person has the Ongo Book (preferably the second edition) and we share the
leadership – reading from the book for each group session.
Michelle Towle and Gordon Roberts are co-hosting this Ongo Group, having
appreciated their learnings from previous Ongo Groups.
Dates for this Ongo Group – 2026
The book walks us through a 12-week group program.

or deepen your learning.
