Ongo is more than just a course on Non-Violent Communication – for me, it is a Journey of Self Discovery. Ongo is a way of learning to communicate with others, in a positive and constructive manner. A way of learning to listen, with empathy.
This 12 week group works together through a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workbook called The Ongo Book: everyday nonviolence.
We meet for 2 hours each week. There are also 1-2 hours of activities to do at home each week.
Everyone is welcome.
Cost: by donation, suggested $2 – $5
each week or CENTs.
The group will start 1 or 2 weeks later (when the group decides).
It runs for 12 weeks.
Ongo books can be purchased for about $35.

I am still working on learning to talk less when someone is sharing, but it was one of the
things I loved about it most, you got to share and not be interrupted or given advice, you
were given the needs that were missing from your story and it goes a long way to healing
parts of yourself and your connections with others.
