Yoga with Annette
Our morning yoga session will commence with a short mindfulness practice to set the tone for our day, then create some energy with postures adapted to the weather and participants, then finish with a short relaxation to create a calm and relaxed mind to enjoy our morning tea and the other sessions. Variations will be made for different people so whatever your yoga experience you will be able to participate.
Annette is a highly experienced yoga and Pilates teacher and yoga therapist now living in Penguin. She teaches on yoga therapy courses around Australia and completed her Masters by research degree in Tasmania on the effects of yoga on women with breast cancer related lymphoedema.
Foot washing and massages with Nilah
This session is a time of self-nurturing and learning new ways to nurture others. There will be an option to commit to using the skills learned during the retreat.
Nilah is a retired nurse with a background in holistic and shiatsu massage. She has a passion for the unshakable consciousness of mankind.
Using herbs for relaxation and wellbeing with Kylie
Explore how you can use herbs that you can grow at home here in Tassie to promote relaxation and reduce the unwanted effects of stress. May include formulating your own herbal tea blend, making bath bags, making massage oils. This will be a flexible workshop catering for participants’ interests.
Kylie Westley is a practising registered Naturopath who is passionate about promoting health and wellbeing through the joy of working with plants.
Earthing with Michelle
Earthing (or grounding) is being in conductive contact with the earth. Michelle will lead us through an experience of earthing outdoors and indoors, whilst discussing the researched benefits to our health.
Michelle is trained in medicine, health promotion and health coaching. She is passionate about sustainability and health. Earthing is a new passion as it’s something people can do for themselves and it’s free!

Meditation with Wanda
Learn a useful Relaxation Meditation which incorporates mindfulness techniques, so you relax at will, anytime, anywhere.
Wanda is a qualified Hypnotherapist and utilises Raja Yoga philosophies in all her teachings.
