RESEED is an acronym for Renewable Energy, Sustainability Education, and Enterprise Development.
We imagine the RESEED Centre being a hub for positive change through education and skills development, building community, strategic partnerships, enterprise development, demonstration and advocacy.
The 16 principles come under 4 headings:
1. Respect and care for the community of life
2. Ecological integrity
3. Social and economic justice
4. Democracy, nonviolence, and peace
Sustainable living includes many aspects of life including:
· Transport
· Energy use
· Health and wellbeing
· Community resilience
· Education
· Alternative economies
· Overall reducing people’s impact on the planet
