Regenerative Communities Conversations
At the RESEED Centre, Penguin
Tuesday afternoons: 3.30 -5.30pm (Beginning 26th October)
You are invited to be part of an ongoing community conversation and learning space: to connect, share and dream how we can collaboratively grow localised expressions of regenerative communities. These gatherings will be a supportive space from which to creatively re-envisage how we might co-create a healthier, happier and more compassionate world for all; to dream up possibilities to support the growth of resilient, healthy and abundant localised expressions of place.
Loosely following the explorations and framework of Gaia University’s ‘Design for Sustainability and Regeneration’ Course’, we will consider both the theoretical and the practical dimensions applicable to reimagining and designing the human presence on earth as ‘regenerative’ rather than ‘degenerative’.
In time, the Conversation Circles will explore the following four dimensions of creating a sustainable and regenerative human civilization:
-
Social Design
-
Ecological
-
Worldview
-
Economic Design
The first Circle series will be a six week conversation on the theme of ‘Social Design’. In this series, we will explore how we can consciously create cooperative and harmonious ways of living and working together.
Topics for discussion include:
-
building community and embracing diversity
-
communication Skills and decision making
-
leadership and empowerment
-
Art, Ritual and Social Transformation
-
Education, Social Networks and Activism
The general format of the conversation circles will be:
