Dear Customers,
We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the future of TPC. After careful consideration, the board has made the difficult decision to close the cooperative at the beginning of May.
This decision has not been made lightly. Our small team, supported by dedicated customers like you, has worked tirelessly to keep TPC running, but unfortunately, the financial reality and our inability to secure enough ongoing funding have left us with no other option. We’ve faced significant operational and financial challenges over the past year, and despite all of our efforts, we’ve reached a point where continuing isn’t feasible.
We want to be clear that your contribution has meant the world to us. The success of
TPC in its many forms has been down to incredible people in our communities who have put local, seasonal and ethical produce first.
Collection Points This Week:
We want to reassure you that this week’s collection points will proceed as
normal. The dates for this cycle are Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th.
Our final cycle is now open and will close midnight Sunday 27th April and be
ready for collection Wednesday 30th April and Thursday 1st May.
Check the calendar for your specific collection point location, day and time.
Final Order Cycle:
As we approach our final order cycle, we encourage you to support our amazing
producers by stocking up on your favourite local goodies! This is a chance to
celebrate the incredible food we’ve shared and to show your support for the folks
who have made TPC what it is. Your purchases will help us ensure a smooth and
responsible closure of our operations, and we know that the farmers will appreciate
your continued support during this time.
We know this news will be disappointing, and we want to sincerely thank you for
your support over the years. Your commitment to supporting local food systems has
meant so much to us, and we are incredibly proud of the community we’ve built
together.

While the volunteers at our collection points are invaluable to our operation, not all of
them are members of TPC. Many are wonderful people who have generously given
their time to help so please thank them, but if you have any questions or concerns,
direct them to [email protected] so we can ensure they get to the right
person.
We will be sharing more details in the coming week about our final cycle and how
you can stay connected to your favourite local farmers and producers after we
close.
