The Ongo group – are you ready?

“Ongo is more than just a course on Non-Violent Communication – for me, it is a Journey of Self Discovery.  Ongo is a way of learning to communicate with others, in a positive and constructive manner. A way of learning to listen, with empathy.”

“Ongo has created a safe space to be vulnerable and explore within ourselves, how we think and connect to others.  I am still working on learning to talk less when someone is sharing, but it was one of the things I loved about it most, you got to share and not be interrupted or given advice, you were given the needs that were missing from your story and it goes a long way to healing parts of yourself and your connections with others.”

This 12 week group works together through a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workbook called The Ongo Book: everyday nonviolence.

We are offering a face to face group at the RESEED Centre in Penguin, NW Tasmania.

“Ongo has given me the ability to step back from where I would typically react and learn to respond and look at the person I am trying to connect with and see what possible needs they are looking for, that drive their behaviour.”
